Talk about haunted places here in Texas we'd like to visit, maybe tell you a few stories of our own Growing up and living in a haunted home. All this and more so. Stick with us here at Ghosts. All this and more so, stick with us. Here it goes. Warning. The views and opinions discussed on the FN Crunch crew may offend some people. Please accept this warning as our apology. Now let's get this FN show on the road. Bitches, you can't stop me.
0:42 Oh yeah, it's your boy, Big Spook Pinky. Oh yeah, it's your boy, big Spook. Pinky, I'm Blanco. And we are the F and Crunch Crew, so we're going to talk about some ghostly shit and see if we can scare each other, at least find a place to scare each other with. Don't cry, blanco, don't cry. I tried, let's get into it. Oh yeah, how's everybody doing tonight? Today, whatever it is Spooky, yes, that be me. No, I wasn't. I'm ready for Halloween. You know what? Me too, I'm ready for the cold weather for sure. Yeah, fuck this heat.
1:22 This damn Texas heat is so bad, we got a cold front right. It was nice the last couple nights, but we're heading back into yeah. This weekend is going to be Back to the seventh circle of hell. Yes, right there Speaking of that, I guess hell wouldn't be it. But the sun. Did you see the? What is it called? The sun, whenever it has an explosion on the sun, it's called a what A little burp Solar flare Solar flare. Thank you, yes, did you see that? No, it just happened a couple days ago, solar flare, and what happened? Well, you know, solar flares can cause a lot of mess up, a lot of frequencies. Did it. Did it. I don't know.
2:03 Did you have any problems with your phones or anything like that About a week? ago. Not that I remember. Anyway, I thought it was cool. I like following that shit too, but I do like following what we're about to talk about Ghosts, Ghosts, haunted shit. I got a personal story I think I've told y'all before, but I don't think we've actually talked about it. I want to do an episode with my brother and my sister well, barbara and Nick, because they share this story and experience with me yeah, it's crazy to hear them talk about it too yeah, the haunted house we had. East Dallas it's right by White Rock Lake.
2:45 Oh okay, gotcha, but yeah, I want to do one with them. I've talked to them, they've heard the podcast and I know that Barbara's told me she really wants to be on the podcast. And then my brother's like I want to be on there. I'm like, yeah, let's do it We'll talk about, because the thing we have in common is the damn haunted house we lived in for freaking years. Really. Yeah, I've heard some crazy stories about that place. I haven't heard any of this. Tell me please. It was cool. I'll tell you all about it and then we'll revisit it when they come, so that we can hear their stories. Okay. So lived in northeast Dallas and it was right by White Rock Lake, northeast Dallas, and it was right by White Rock Lake, and we lived in this neighborhood and then my mom and dad bought this house a street over from where we lived.
3:33 Well, when they bought it, I remember a friend of mine used to live there and his name was Kevin and he was there and I showed him where we were moving to and he looked at me and he's like he goes, y'all bought this house. I said yeah, he goes. I said why he goes? You'll see. Wait, he was living in it, he lived in it, okay, and he said you'll see, sorry, y'all. Time. No, no, no you got to start it. He's like no, no no. That wasn't what it was, anyways. So yeah, I'm like what do you mean? He goes, you'll see. And he said it kind of creepy. We were kids, little kid voices, weirdness.
4:15 You'll see. You'll see you little bastard. He like took his shit and put it in the air vent and then put the grate back up. Oh gosh. He's going to smell it tonight. Mike Patton from Faith no More used to do that in hotel rooms. I think it was Mike Patton. It's pretty gross. Maybe it wasn't him, maybe it was somebody else. That's not ghost, that's gross. Anyways listen, listen, listen. So we moved in and I didn't know what the hell he was talking about. As a kid, it was me, my sister and my brother, my mom and my dad and I was going to high school. My sister and she was about 16, 15, 16. She was 16 because Aviana was just yeah, aviana was born, so she's probably 16, 17 years old, and my brother was little and we shared a room.
5:05 My sister had her own room and, man, there was some strange shit that happened there. We would get in trouble by our parents. They would tell us who left the light on last night or who opened the refrigerator. I get blamed for the refrigerator because they think I go to get shit to eat right Like what the fuck. What's the little guy's? name. You call him chancho. No, no, the up guy. Oh, oh, yeah, the little boy from up, little cub scout. Yeah, she pictures that every time now. Yeah, so the refrigerator was open and I'd get blamed for it. I'm like, wouldn't me back door was open one time and it was like I was in bed, like how the hell I even did you sneak out type of shit.
5:45 No, it wasn't, uh lights, it was just a bunch of bunch of shit. Man, crazy stuff. Well, it got crazier. Um, my mom, for some reason, until this day, my sister does not like clowns oh yeah barbara does not like clowns, right, we used to have this clown painting in the middle of our hallway. Why the fuck did we have? a clown painting. Was it the old oil painting of hobo clowns? Almost, but it wasn't. It was a different one. But he kind of looks at you and it's like, anywhere you walk, the eyes follow you, type of shit. It's creepy. So I'm looking at this thing and'm like fuck. Every time and you get used to because over the years you're like well, what can I do?
6:25 But the bathroom that everybody shared not my parents bathroom, but the ones that we shared, my mom decorated with pictures of magazine people, celebrities and magazines like back in the day you'd have like fucking, what's his name from? cheers on the fucking wall, ted Danson on the wall and Madonna and like fucking what's his name? from cheers on the fucking wall, ted dancing on the wall and madonna and like a new york deli type thing where they have famous people yeah, famous people on the wall. Yeah, we'd have that in the wall. So when you go take a shit, you're like, damn it quit. Looking at me, what the fuck? you feel like you're being stared at by like these actors and singers and shit you mean the way spook has his in the bathroom? Yeah, it's weird. He's got Danny DeVito everywhere.
7:06 Actually, I have a shower curtain with Jeff Goldblum on it. He does. That's weird shit why or how. He's like holding a chimpanzee in the jungle. Okay, let's not talk about the hot dog boy over there Hot dog boy. We had all these pictures and it was weird and it got to the point to where you actually felt like somebody was watching you when you went to the bathroom, so it'd be like you know what that was. Catholic guilt Stupid. So I remember I would tell and I probably sound as stupid as hell, but I'd say'd say, look, could you please go out while I use the bathroom, I would talk to space like nothing there that would make you feel better it would make me feel better, like they're actually.
7:52 oh yeah, okay, I'll be right back. Sorry type of shit, but you know it's whatever, so they don't need. You know things would happen. So I would go out. I was a teenager having a good time. I was by gang banging and shit back then and all that stupid shit. So I remember I would come home late at night and me and my brother shared a room and I looked over. Our door was open. It was a dark hallway, everybody was asleep and I'd come in, lay in my bed and I'd look over and I'd see the silhouette of a man standing in my doorway and when I seen it I would cover my head. I'd be like fuck, I freaked out. The first time I looked up I'm like oh, hell, no.
8:33 Hell no About to get kidnapped again. Here we go. Damn. They just have it all for him. I know right Humans and ghosts. That show was weeks ago. What the hell are y'all talking? about. You know why he never got kidnapped? You're making the scary story stupid Because his face was too big to fit on the side of a milk carton. Okay, finish the story, good God. That is my monitor For right here, Anyways. So I saw a silhouette of a man and I would see that silhouette periodically I'd come home, or late at night I'd see it. Were you the only one that was seeing him at this time. I thought so. I thought so until years later.
9:15 So I'd see this and then I'd hear things. And then I remember looking up and my sister would tell me about things she would see. And, um, she said one night she was sitting watching TV and she didn't go out because she, you know, she had her, she had her daughter, so she'd stay home. My parents would go out and have a good time, I'd go out and my brother would probably be with. My cousin said one night she was watching TV and it got to the point where it was fuzzy. You know, she was watching TV and it got to the point where it was fuzzy and then she heard the loudest scream come from the TV and a weird dynamic voice but it was a weird voice, she said and she freaked out my parents had gotten home, they were in bed and she screamed and she ran.
10:03 My dad got up and was like what, what? And she's like do you not hear that voice? Do you not hear that voice? And uh, they didn't. They're like no, it stopped. So she would tell me that. Then she'd tell me that the bathroom light would come on or um, the tv would turn off and on um. There was times where the creepiest thing that happened to me there was when I came home one night and I'm walking in and my parents are out, my brother's not there and my sister's sitting on the couch watching TV, and my niece had to be probably about one years old, two, she was crawling. And I walked in the hallway and looked down the hallway to my mom's room and I saw baby crawling in there and I looked at my sister.
10:50 I said what the fuck is Aviana doing crawling down the hallway? And she was what the hell are you talking about? She's right here next to me. And I looked and Aviana was next to her, asleep, and I turned back down the hallway and there was a baby crawling in my mom's room. It turned its head and looked at me and went around the bed yeah I automatically at that point you call me a punk. Now I'm so sorry that I did this to my sister. I turned around, looked at her. I said y'all need to get the fuck out of here and I walked out the door. I left. I was like y'all need to get the fuck out of here. And she was why. And I told her why. I said there's a baby crawling into mom's room right now and y'all need to get the fuck out of here and it freaked me out.
11:36 I went outside, made a phone call to my boy to go pick me up, told him about it. Then it got to a point to one of our our friends had passed away. He got murdered and, um, I wasn't here, I was in uh, ohio recording and I didn't make his funeral and it was actually one of my sister's ex-boyfriends and he got murdered and we were, we were kind of tight. You know he would call me whatever and when I I got back, I remember in my room I felt was presence. I'm like things would happen, little little peculiar things that he would do, that I knew that something he would do, right, and I was like okay, hey bro, I know it's you.
12:20 Uh, let's uh's like what do you need? And it's like wind started blowing outside right and Orly, my boy, big O, comes to pick me up and he's like, bro, I ain't going to your house, no more. I said why he goes, I will drive you in the driveway, I will drop you off in the back, closest to the back door or the front door, but I ain't going to your house, no more. I said why, bro, he goes, look at those trees around your house. I said, yeah, he goes. Look at the other houses. There was no tree moving around the other houses, but my house. It was like these trees were moving, there was wind and I'm like what the fuck?
13:01 I just right then and there I was, like this is creepy. So I remember going inside and I told him his name was Robert. I said, robert, look, I'm going to take you. I'm going to call somebody to come pick us up. I called my boy, louis. I said, man, pick me up and he's real religious and me and him would go back and forth. You know bump heads about religion and all this. And I said, look, do not ask any questions, but I need you to open the back door of your car. I said I'm bringing Robert with me and we're taking him to go to his mom and dad and he's like what the fuck are you talking about, bro? I said, bro, don't ask no questions, just do this man, just do it. So I remember I said get in, shut the door. We took off and he's like in the car talking to me. He goes, bro, what's going on?
13:42 And I was telling him what was happening about the wind blowing, about the little things he used to do, and that was going on in my house. So I get to their house, see, what happened was the backstory is that Robert ran away. I'm sorry, robert ran away or got kicked out at the time. He did something and he never made it back home. He was murdered between that time. So he didn't know where they moved to. I'm pretty sure he would have went home, his soul or whatever. So I take him to where they're living now. Go upstairs. I said, look, I'm going to tell y'all something that's totally crazy and I want y'all to know from the bottom of my heart.
14:23 I did not want to do this, but Robert's with me in the car, he wants to come home. And I thought I was going to get thrown out or whatever. And they were like what are you talking about? Blah, blah, blah, blah. Well, one of his brothers stepped outside and yelled and said Mom, mom, come here, come here. And in the back of the car you saw a silhouette of a head sitting in the back and my boy Louis was like freaking out. He's like what the fuck is that? I'm like. I told you, robert's with me, he needs to come home, went downstairs, opened the door. I get yelled from up above and they're telling me it's no longer in the car.
15:07 I said go home, bro. We went home after that. I went home after that. Those are some things that happen in this house and the scariest part is that nobody believed us, right? Nobody believed me and my sister and my brother, my poor little brother. I never wanted to tell him because I thought that it would freak him out. You were trying to protect him, yeah. So like we're moving forward now in the future. We went camping All of us went camping one night for a weekend and we started telling ghost stories. And then my brother looks at me and my sister and he looks at me and he goes. Did you ever see that silhouette of the man in our doorway?
15:48 And I, like, looked at him and I said you saw that shit too. And he goes. I saw it all the time he goes I would cover my head and I would. I would hope you get home. He goes. It scared me so much because I would. I would lay in my bed and you you weren't there and he would be there and he'd just stand there and look and I was like what the fuck? And so we exchanged, like we started exchanging all these stories amongst us and we found out most of the shit that happened to me was happening to them too. And this house. As we got older, we started looking back into it. Did anybody die there? What happened? And we couldn't find anything. My sister looked and saw when it was built, who owned it besides us?
16:30 And she wanted to buy it because she wanted to move back into it. And I said, what the fuck? You crazy. She goes. I want to move back in. She goes. I want to know what's causing it, no way. So my mother used to work at Baylor Hospital and she would take furniture that they were throwing away or giving away, and blankets oh sweet, and baby blankets, and blankets that you cover up with, and all that, oh damn. She'd bring them to the house. So my brother, nick, is like you know what I think it is. I said what he goes. Mom used to work at Baylor. All the stuff she brought had a connection and he goes. I bet you we brought that connection because after we moved and threw all that stuff away, it never happened again.
17:13 And I was like you know what, man, I said I think you're totally right on that, because once we left, all that shit go. That's when it stopped happening. What about the fucking ghost baby? Well, we had blankets, like I mean the baby could have died in somebody's arms. You know the mother, let's say a mother was giving. Let's say, a mother gave birth and the baby died and she wanted to hold the baby before they took her away. That blanket that she was holding her in could have captured that soul or that essence or whatever is what I'm thinking, but that was some freaky shit that happened to me there, man. I'm like you do hear of attachments, especially to things like that.
17:54 That's why, when we would go to the um, to the uh vintage shops, you know, they have all those like really old things dolls and all that stuff. I mean they say don't grab them, I don't. Yeah, I know that, like Blanco has a lot of antiques, yeah, and they like antiques, I don't. But it's family, right? No? No, you guys buy them. Like he's got some ghost stories. He could tell you too from his old house, from my last house. But I thought it was attachment to, I thought it was specifically attached to a 1946 philco am radio turntable, hi-fi system. It's just like furniture um, emily's mom bought it, but when we got it to our house we had weird shit start happening.
18:42 But it's in my current house I I moved with it and I haven't had anything in this house. Yeah, but some of the shit that would happen at your house, yeah, the hallway, the door handles. Oh dude the light, like walking. Looked like somebody walking in front of down my hallway from the light. You know how. You have a little under the door. You have a little edge when there's nobody home, things that my dog would go. There was a corner of the front living room where he would just start barking and growling at something that wasn't there, and it was about three quarters of the way up to the corner of the house and he's looking at something and he I could see him several times.
19:25 Something would scare him. It wasn't there? Um first week we moved in that house that we had a uh, a crystal vase on top of the fridge and it. My wife and I were in the kitchen and it kind of flew off. The fridge shattered all over the stove. I tried there was no vent blowing on it. My fridge didn't vibrate, just weird stuff like that. I used to when I go to his house and he told me all this shit was happening. It's okay, let me, let me jump. Let me jump something else do never, ever in your life, you won't ever play the ouija board. Oh no, no, no I made that mistake a long time ago yeah, well, I think we all do, I think a long time ago I did too, but some shit happened like did anything happen to you no okay, so I remember I'm at one of my friends house and he's a dj, his name is uh kid fresh, and we're at his house and his uh, mom was out, his sister was out and it was his sister's board and he said man, let's play this ouija board.
20:30 I said let's do it. Oh, you know, whatever, let's do it. So we read the, read the directions, you know, and I'm I'm a stickler about okay, if it says do this, do this, because I'm playing with spirits. Now you know like, all right, whatever, let's do it. So we lit a candle and we're playing around with it. Next thing, you know, we're asking these questions following directions. It starts to move and they're all looking at me. I said I'm looking at them. I'm like what, what's going on? Why y'all moving? We ain't moving. It ask a question. The lights went out, the flame went up, they let go and ran out the house. I had my hand on the thing still and they said get out the house. I said your sister said do not let go without saying goodbye.
21:14 Y'all need to come in and say goodbye. And they're like man, get out the house. The lights. Lights went off and the flame went up and went back down. And I'm in this room, I'm looking at them from inside the dining room, they're outside on the porch or whatever. And, uh, I'm still holding on to it and the lights came, came back on and they came in. I said I got to say goodbye because I never did it again. And then I have a friend who his wife started playing it by herself You're not supposed to play by yourself, period and she got attached to it to the point of where he would throw it away and he would come back and she would have it playing with it again.
21:55 And they lived in a trailer home at this time up north. And uh, he said, man, I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do, man, I gotta get this thing I get to get away from, but she, she's possessive of it, she won't let me have it. And so, uh, he finally got it away. He finally convinced her it was evil not to do it and he said he burned it. He said those are the reddest flames he's ever seen, ever when he burned it outside. And she was really sad about it and pissed off. But I think I don't think she realized the attachment that she had. Yeah, that attachment to the spirit or the other realm or whatever you have. But yeah, I never, I can't do it. No, I would never do it again.
22:36 You know, but when it comes to ghosts, I really don't think it's spiritual. I think it's energy and dimensional. That's what I think. I don't understand that. Okay, I believe there's energy. Yes, as far as somebody dying. I'm just not convinced. Well, I'm telling you, but even having stuff happen to me in my house that I cannot explain. And you're still not convinced. I just don't think we really understand it. I don't think it's something that we as humans can fathom the reality behind what it really is.
23:20 It's definitely something I mean. You see a little baby crawling in somebody's room and there's not a baby. Oh, that would change your whole life. Then you can tell me that you don't believe because, dude, I seen a baby. That would freak me out. That would freak me the fuck out too. My sister told me I was possessed one night, knocked her out of her bed. You remember this story. She told you this before. I know she has. Yeah, it was the same house. She said that I knocked her out of her bed and I laid down in it and my eyes were open and she went and got my dad and tried to get me out and he was like no, don't mess. God damn, dude, that thing just keeps going off.
24:02 Uh, he said don't mess with me because I could be sleepwalking. Um, but they said that I basically was just down in my underwear and then my dad did not go to sleep. They said I walked to the living room with a smile on my face. Well, hell, that'd keep everybody awake damn russell and I sat in one of the chairs my mom brought back from baylor and I sat in that chair the whole night with my eyes open, smiling, my dad said. And when I finally went to sleep, woke up in the morning, my dad was watching me from the couch and he said do you remember anything from last night? I said no, what are you talking about? Why am I here? He's like explained to me he goes.
24:44 You don't remember staring at me the whole night and smiling and knocking your sister out of her bed and blah, blah, blah. I said no, he goes. I have not been to bed yet because I didn't know what was going on with you, but you did a lot of things last night. So did he think it was something like scary, or did he think it was like drugs? I think he started believing then, out of all, out of my mom and him. I think he believed more. So that was going to be my next question. Did they ever? My mom never did. I think that she blew it off, kind of like. I don't believe that type of thing. Or was it like a protective thing towards you, like she didn't want to? I don't know. Yeah, don't tell the kids what it really is.
25:25 Like my dad, my stepdad was like he started changing. He's like believing he wouldn't blame us for anything anymore. So they didn't see anything. I'm pretty sure he did, but he never said anything Like to this day. I would like to ask him again did you ever see anything in that house? Did anything? ever happen, you should ask him. I want to know now. He would tell you now. I think he thinks you're grown enough to handle that. I'm a little boy, I'm a grown man. Russell, that's what he was showing you. Russell, that's what he was showing you, russell. Yeah, okay, that's what I thought that's his name. So what you got? So no, I was gonna tell you guys that, um, especially when Jeremy said that he didn't believe. Who Blanco. Blanco.
26:06 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Pam Blanco. They're both my names, it's okay. So, um, my mom bought this house, um, back in, I wanna say, 2010, 2011. So before she bought it, she knew what she was getting into. She knew that someone had been murdered there and it was an older lady, it was an older lady. She lived there alone. I don't remember how old she was, but she was pretty old. Was it like a burglary? Yes, wow. So he got in strangled her. She was, I guess, in the room or closet, I don't know where. He had her Still sat down. Ate left his Coke a Coke can Left.
26:48 Whatever they were looking, you know they were doing their investigating and stuff. I think it was like three, four-ish years later they found him. He was sitting in jail. But because he left that Coke can, DNA baby yeah. But in between, I think it was like four or five years afterwards, I think, if I'm not mistaken. But we would see things, hear things. You know, bella would just, she would just be talking to, like you know, the air and I'll tell you about that too. Tanner would do the same thing. He would go to my mom's room, which was the lady's room, and he would go to the corner, look up at the ceiling in a corner and just bark away, and he did it.
27:34 He would do it so often, um, so one night I was asleep in one of the rooms that was made um, it was a garage, it was made into a bedroom, so I stayed in that room that night and um, bella and I were sleeping, uh, a toy went off in the middle of the night. So I'm just like, okay, whatever, you know, I got up please tell me when the doll tell me it wasn't a doll. No, no, it wasn't, it was something like I don't know some noisy toy or whatever. But um, I turned it off right, I literally went and turned it off switch yeah so I went to the restroom, came back, fell asleep and like 15 minutes later it went off off again.
28:16 Weird yeah. So that was my experience. That was like the only experience that I had, you know, besides seeing Tanner like barking at just nothing. Yeah. But my mom saw a few things, my siblings, they probably had their experiences too, but that was the one for me. They probably had their experiences too, but that was the one for me. But again, once that man got caught, then all of it stopped Wow. So that's when I was like okay. Does she still live in that house? She did what. Does she still live there? My mother. Yeah, oh yeah. So it's kind of like damn it boss.
28:56 Where's the damn phone? Oh yeah. And my brothers do not like going Like everybody that hears that someone got murdered yeah. Murdered, like they do not want to go there. They freak out, but I never and I stayed there like by myself. When my mom would go out of town, I would stay there by myself and it's a three bedroom house and I wouldn't experience. I'm not going to lie and say I wasn't scared. Cause I was a little yeah, um, but it wasn't bad. Nothing ever really happened after the fact or after that whole toy situation. You know, did they tell her automatically before she bought the house and she knew they did. Cause, when I went looking for my first house across 75, the one that we used to record at a long time ago um there, from a first house across 75, the one that we used to record at a long time ago.
29:39 There was a house before that that we went to look at and it was by the church. There's two churches over there and this was by a Catholic church and it was a street behind it and I said is there anything I should know about this house? Every house we went to, she goes okay. Is that a question that you asked just because of everything that you experienced as a child? Probably. Yeah. Because I want to know. Now that I've experienced that, I want to know what's happening, and usually when I go into a house, weird as it sounds, I can feel, and if I feel that it's perfectly fine, then I'm good with it. Yeah, like the only people who lived in this house were the original people who owned it, and one of them was the mayor of Richardson, way back here, this one.
30:26 This one used to be a mayor and his wife and then he passed away and she lived here for a while and then did he die in this house? I don't know, but there's never nothing been. There's never been anything weird or oogie about this place. It's been like really chill. I feel very calm. This is a cool place. It's very relaxed, it's very feng shui. I feel very good, very relaxed. So you've never felt chills? No, no, just weird, they're multiplying. You know what I mean? No, so the house that they took us to the first time and I asked that question. I said is there anything I should know? And the lady realtor's like okay, I need to let you know about this house. She said a priest hung himself in the garage and I said, well, she goes.
31:07 There was a priest who came from Africa who was coming to the church to work at this church, and she said that he had hung himself and they found him dead. I said, yeah, no, we're not going to this house, so we're moving on. So we left, move away from that. But it was down the street from my old house, right? And it's like these things. I always wondered do they just tell you off the bat like they're supposed to tell? you something to tell you but, something bad happened. is that a thing Like are they? I don't. I guess if you die, naturally I don't think they have to tell you, but if you're like murdered or you like, there's a very terrible way. You died like hanging yourself, and you're a priest.
31:49 Yeah, you probably want to know that. Yeah. I mean. I would the last house I was in was also the landlord grew up in that house. So it got to the point where I reached out to her. I'm like, hey, I've had this, this, this, this happen with multiple witnesses my brother, my wife, my daughters, my son just weird shit. And she said no, she said she bought that house from her uncle, like her kind of whole family lives in that neighborhood yeah but she said she'd never had anything happen. However, her parents house down the street, they had a upright piano that would play by itself.
32:32 Not a player piano, just a regular upright piano yeah. And it would play by herself and it would freak her mom out so bad that her dad went, and I think they were Buddhist. So he went and bought a little Buddhist statue and put it on the piano and it never happened again. I have an upright piano in the garage. I know I helped you move it here. Oh, that's right, you should remember. It got stuck in the bed of my truck and it took us like three hours Heavy. Some bitch. That shit stays with the house, bro, I can't move it again. I won't have people moving. I ain't gonna move it, um, but yeah, that's um, that's a little dabble, real quick. I want to get back more into some things. I know that you found Thank you so.
34:29 So, oh, yeah, we're back, we're back. So, uh, before we left, we were talking about places we like to go visit hauntings and all this stuff and during the break, uh pinky and uh von blocko and I were talking about a place in fort Fort Worth that we'd like to go and chill, check it out, maybe stay the night or a couple hours of the night just to investigate.
35:12 I'd like to do a couple other places too, you know. I'm totally down. I don't know that I would sleep there, but I know we would go and check it out, hang out, see if we experience anything. Obviously it's going to take time. We probably need to sleep during the day and then just be up and do it all night. Would you do it? I know you would. I'd like to do that so I have a friend I've mentioned him a couple times Chris and Sally Brezic, and Sally is very much into like, like ghost hunting, and they've been to a place that I asked Blanco to look it up. It's called the Haunted House.
35:55 Haunted Hill House. Haunted Hill House? Yeah, and it's here in Texas. It's in Mineral. Wells, mineral Wells, and they've been there three times, I think I think it's three times For sure twice. And they've been there three times, I think I think it's three times For sure, twice. And she has a lot of equipment and stuff. From what she's told me, I would love to use it or see it if we could. I know you can download a lot of stuff. You probably still haven't seen any of the shows we've told you to watch as far as paranormal, I haven't, but I will. I've watched that one. I think it'll really pique your interest. That's a good one. It will pique your interest and I think you will stay on it. What did you say? It was on again it's on Max and. Discovery. Plus, it's on Discovery.
36:36 Plus Okay. Yeah, you can watch it on Discovery Plus you can watch it on Travel Channel. It was on Hulu, but it's not anymore. I looked for it. last night I watched it on Hulu. I used to up until last night. I watched it last night on Hulu. They got a new one. I couldn't even find it in the search bar, Wow bro I have Hulu live. We watched the new one last night. There's some new ones out, okay, ah, so definitely go back. Was this the one with the little thing running on the ground. Running across the ground, yeah. I saw that last night, but I had to watch it through Discovery+. Yeah, that one I was kind of like I don't know, it looks fake. It looks fake. To me it's like they just superimposed something and made it smaller, but at the same time who knows? I mean it looks fake.
37:16 It always leaves you with the like you know, what if? Yeah, like what if? Or Now, there's some things on there that are just bullshit. Yeah, but then there's some things that are like what the fuck was that? What the fuck was? that I tell you a lot of the Bigfoot footage on that show. It's pretty fucking good. It's pretty fucking good, and if it's fake, it's really fucking good. I don't know if I believe in Bigfoot, just because. I still don't. Yeah, you know. It makes sense that there would be something like that out there, but like where are the remains? Where are the bones? I mean, but there's like they just found I want to say eight years ago a tribe in South America that they didn't know about, like a tribe A human tribe.
38:03 So how in the hell can we say there's no Bigfoot and this tribe's been living there for years? and years and years. It's like look, I think it's eight years ago, they found a tribe and it's it's in South America. I mean that that tripped me out there's that one in like by New Guinea, where they still don't know about there was that one by New Guinea, where they still don't know about planes and shit. Yeah, or they'll kill you if you go to their island. They'll kill you if you go to their island. There was actually a movie or documentary about that? Yeah, was it that preacher kid that went? Yeah, and he got killed. They, you know, I mean play stupid games, win stupid prizes, I mean shit. Yeah, have you not heard about these things?
38:44 Well, no, on Sound of Freedom, I did see that they do have those private areas where you are not allowed. Nobody in the government or anything like that can go in Can go in, yeah, because it's their own. It's their own sacred land, but this people they didn't know existed there, like they, and that's, that's damn. That's what. What is that jungle? That's the? Um. What's that jungle called? Bro? The amazon amazon, the amazon's fucking big there is a the biggest river. The amazon river is the biggest river in the world. Yeah, they found species of homo sap, not homo sapien.
39:27 It's like between humans and monkeys no, no and like homo erectus and homo sapiens, which is us, they found in a cave a burial ceremony, a ceremonial burial place for this genus of human. Yeah, that doesn't fall in homo erectus or homo sapien. So they have smaller heads, smaller brains yeah um, but the they were strategically placed in this cave. Um, it's like trending on Netflix. It's strategically placed. Somebody actually put them there. Yes, but this is like 300,000 years ago.
40:09 Okay, and their bones are still there. But the fact that these people with no tools were able to maneuver this cave in the dark, it's death-defying. It's taking these archaeologists and spelunkers' crazy feats of in and out a seven-inch gap, going down a chute, I'm sorry. And then, once you get down the chute, there's this big open area in this cave and they have found these 300,000-year-old I can't remember what they're called- 300,000. Yeah, in South Africa, Okay speaking of caves. I went to the cave that Reagan, your daughter, my niece, was in and she took the.
40:53 There's three different things you can do there. She did the hardcore one she did the hardcore one. She did the four-hour one. Yeah, I'm proud of her. The holes they have to go through. Yeah, you said seven-inch. Yeah, I saw these through. Yeah, you said seven inch. Yeah, I saw these holes. Yeah, and one of the guys who gave us the tour actually gives the tour for that too, wow. And he said I'm going to show y'all one of the holes we have to go through. And he showed like he had a flashlight and showed us no way in hell. My head would fit in there. They have to crawl in there. Your head doesn't fit in a lot of things, though, wow. I just hear claustrophobia see I'm not claustrophobic, but my daughter and her boyfriend went for their anniversary and I was proud of my daughter because she can get a little claustrophobic, sometimes a little anxiety.
41:38 She was taking selfies crawling on her stomach. They have to have their head sideways to fit. I couldn't. Oh, just seeing it is ridiculously crazy. It was freaky. Like I'm old enough now to where my bones hurt just seeing pictures of her doing that Leg wouldn't fit. I'm like fuck that, Uh-uh, oh, oh, oh. So do you know why Rockwall was named Rockwall? Oh yeah, no you don't know about. Oh, that's very interesting. Go ahead bro, you take this one take this one. I'll jump in with you, go ahead. So in the city of rock wall was being, you know, people were moving there. It was called something else, I can't remember, but they were going to change the name and there's three families and they're all fighting for it to be their name.
42:33 Well, one of the families had a farm and they started like excavating and they found this wall. It looks like a man-made wall that spans several tens of of miles pretty much throughout rock wall and I think, um fate and heath there's a documentary on this. Actually, the university that we work at is a very famous geophysicist who goes to dig sites and he was actually on it's like the History Channel and I was very disappointed because he said this is naturally made. Yeah, that's what he said. There's no way To see. it is like whoa To see it is like this was. It's ridiculous, but here's where it gets darker. There's more to just this story, and it was published in 1891, 1890s in the Dallas Times Herald. It was published about Nephilim that had been found in that area in a cave.
43:19 Explain. Nephilim, please. Giants Between 9, 16 feet tall giants. They find Nephilim skeletons? Please? Giants Between 9 and 16 feet tall giants. They find Nephilim skeletons in that area or in that cave. They're being found all over the world. Yeah, every continent has Nephilim, particularly there in our area. Yeah, but right here in our area, that's what was found in the 1890s. It was dug up in a tunnel and it had human remains in some kind of cauldron, so they thought that it was eating. You know, humans. What are those called Cannibals, Cannibalistic Nephilim? How true that is, I don't know. But the Dallas Times Herald was pestered by the city and the churches around here because that does not jive with religion.
44:06 The Bible Belt area over there. And the Dallas Times-Herald redacted the article. But it's very interesting that it was so. It's like a group of men in Rockwall found that Scared the shit out of them. I mean, that would scare the shit out of me. So it was the wall yeah. So Rockwall was. That Scared the shit out of them. I mean, that would scare the shit out of me. So it was the wall. Yeah, so Rockwall is named after the rock wall that was dug up. And not only that, but the rocks that form this wall aren't local to this area. That's another thing that got me. Yeah, how are you going to say that's not man-made, they're not even from our area? Like the rocks they look. I'm going to pull up a picture. So did they ever find like bones or anything that like?
44:49 Not in the wall part, but wherever this Nephilim was, which was it has connected to this rock wall somehow. But anyways, that's why Rockwall Texas is named Rockwall and there's this whole like rabbit hole. You can go down on the internet researching this stuff. And all of this is still there. Yeah, most of it's on private property now, so you can't just go explore it. It is on private property. Yeah, okay, here's a picture of some of the wall. So whose private property is this? on Several different landowners out there, you know. I see I can pull up a better picture than this. That's interesting. There's still some, like you know, farmland out there. A lot has been developed, If I can get it right.
45:33 I hadn't heard at all anything about that Still not a good picture, but this is one of the pictures. They dug it up and it goes deeper. It's a rock wall and they I'm trying to show it because they were like brick-like wall it's a brick-like wall and they did a documentary on it and I was amazed. I remember you're the first person who told me about it, because I know the geophysicist. He runs a geoscience department at the school we work for, and so of course I wanted to watch them on the History Channel. I was very into the story anyways, because it was at the time I lived in Rowlett, which is, you know, just down the street. The Giants of Rockwall.
46:13 Yeah, it's talking about. Here's a skull, like a case of Rockwall's giant skull. That's what I was asking to see if they found. Nephilim it's like stories and they gotta pull up more pictures. But yeah, if you go into depth and like look it up and do a little research, what they've have found, it's it's just a crazy story. To begin with I'm like so Nephilim is kind of new to me. As far as not knowing about them, I didn't know they were called Nephilim, I thought they were just giants were giants and. I didn't believe in a giant. I mean, I could see a nine foot tall, yeah, 10 foot maybe, 12 foot, yeah, but I can't see nothing past that and this was in when. Like what? Eight 1890s Okay.
46:57 Yeah, it's crazy. Texas giant human skull Story about it here. We'll have to do more on it and maybe we can put it in our Facebook to talk about it. Yeah, there's been a bunch of podcasts about it. There's one guy here that was actually trying to go to the site and do his own excavation on it. Sorry about that Uh oh, hold up, I just burnt myself. Timer sorry about that. Uh, oh, sorry, yeah, yeah, hold up, hold up. Ah, I just burnt, myself timer, ah, did. I do something else yep, oh, ain't that a bitch, I thought you turned it on like way long I thought of it too like before we started. You're gonna have to cut this little part out.
47:39 Yeah, yeah no, I don't want to you. Just uh had a fire hazard uh, it was. No, I don't want to had a fire hazard. Look at the fireman talk over there. Wow, I don't recommend putting on a candle with a can of air can of air, it works. If you don't want to get up and do it, just blow the shit. What are you going to do? Write me up, yeah, whatever, I know where you live. I'll haunt you so we'll just keep time ourselves. So question as you take a drink have you ever? Is there any particular place you would like to visit that's haunted or scary, like, for instance I'll give you an example the Shining, the hotel.
48:27 You can actually go stay there. Yeah, what hotel was that? What is the name of that hotel? Do you know? The Stanley Hotel. Stanley Hotel. The Shining Hotel. Yes. Yeah, stanley Inn, where is that Colorado? Colorado, so I've always wanted to go there. I know that Stephen King actually rented a room there to write. Yeah, I love. Stephen King. So much His mind is just out there when it comes to artistically being scary and horrifying. That dude. I love him. He's got some great stuff Out of everything that I've read in my life. I've always loved Stephen King books. Yeah, yeah, you read, I do, I've never been able to get.
49:10 I'm a reader, but I've never been able to get through any of you know what? the best book, in my opinion, that he wrote is called graveyard shift, and it is a collection of short stories wait, wait. Isn't there a movie called graveyard shift? yeah, he, oh damn, it's a fucking candle on my lip, but, um, it's a collection of short stories, so it's like it's, it's, it's. You don't have to read the whole book, it's like just different chapters or different stories and that's I have add. So focusing is just girl. Yeah, yeah, I don't mind like I can. I do a lot of audible, audible, so I do a lot of that. I probably have to get through one of those, because I've never I think it's been so intimidating because they're so huge.
49:54 Oh, yeah, I mean, that's my step, but I read, read, read, and I never want the books to finish. What's your favorite book to read? I can honestly tell you I've read every single Nicholas Sparks book Like I don't know who that is. it's like romance oh, you read the books with like Fabio on the cover no were they novellas. Nicholas Sparks. You know who Nicholas Sparks is. The notebook a walk to remember oh, the notebook. A walk to remember yeah. I read some other stuff too like something that contains like sexual stuff in there. A Walk to Remember, oh, the notebook. A Walk to Remember, oh lady stuff. Yeah, yeah, you said lady stuff. I've never seen the notebook. I read some other stuff too, I haven't either Something that contains sexual stuff in there, fifty Shades of Grey type.
50:37 Oh. Christina. He's stupid. No, honestly, if you guys haven't, I think there's just more to that than the sexual part. Well, I've seen Fifty Shades of Grey. Yeah, and. I've seen the other ones, I have not. It's more psychology stuff? I have not, because isn't it about like bondage and shit? Well, that still freaks me out, but I saw it with two girls. There's a story. In my bedroom. Oh my gosh. But there's a story, it that's what interests me. I gave two shits about that whole sexual bondage and all that stuff, the whole psychology thing of it. That's what. Here's the thing. If that's your thing, that's your thing.
51:20 That's just too much fucking work. The only reason I'm asking her is because we're getting that ADD on this topic. Yeah. I was asking because we've talked about you narrating too, and because that's something. Uh, I'm dabbling that. I I need to start recording once. I I gotta find the time. My time is so taken in different places. Yeah, um you don't sleep and yeah, I've only. I'm working on two hours of sleep from yesterday. That's ridiculous and I'm, I'm like my mind is going and going, and going, and it's usually music has me captivated, like I can write music, but now it's podcasting and coming up with topics and stories. And then I have another thing that I want her to do with me, a different podcast, which is like oh, I see how it is.
52:04 Guys going solo, huh it's a Mexican thing, bro hey, that's racist going solo. huh, it's a Mexican thing, bro. Hey, that's racist. I gotta think twice because I mean, I don't know about her. I had to pull her card the other day. I know, I think I'm more Mexican than you. I think so. My name definitely is. My brothers make fun of me about it. Do they? I'm very different from my siblings and they give me a hard time about that. I'm very different from my siblings. And they give me a hard time about that. Yeah, they give you a hard time about it. I'm very different from my siblings too, but they just accept me as the black sheep. Well, I wish they would I love my family. I'm just kidding. She's going to cry. She's going to cry when she gets a call, no I have a really good relationship with my siblings, so I do want to do these scary things.
52:52 yeah, yeah, so, yes, so I would like to visit molly's, miss molly's hotel, and this is fort worth. Yes, do you know any story history behind it? so, I did dig a little in there, and not too much, because I would much rather leave a lot of it for maybe a future yeah um show, especially when we get into the Halloween thing. But before I get into that, I was really bummed when I was looking into all of this because I heard about Waxahachie and Waxahachie oh my. God, I'm tongue twister. They had the catfish plantation. I don't know if you heard about it, the catfish plantation. Never heard of it. So the guy that does my hair told me that him and his wife went to have lunch there and there's like I don't know too much, but I was so interested because it's a haunted restaurant.
53:40 I think, they said it used to be a hotel. Okay, again, I don't know, much, so don't quote me. And now it's a catfish joint. Well, it was. Oh, don't quote me. Well it was. I was bummed because, as I was doing research, I found out that it was closed. Aw. And I really wanted to go. But is the building still there? Yes. Well, that's even better. Yeah, but it's nothing. It's just a shut down building. Yeah. I'll look more into it, but yeah, I was just so bummed. Well, I know you're about to tell me about something. Let me tell you something I follow. There's something I follow on Facebook and it's called Abandoned Places. Oh, I love that page. Dude, you go and you see so many different things. Is it the one of Texas? The one of Texas, yeah, I follow that too. And they go to. Just people from anywhere who are part of this Take pictures of abandoned places that they've been to.
54:24 Some of them are creeping. Yeah, um, angela and I went on a. We were hiking before the heat came around and we I I got a, a card to go to all the um the parks. You know the state parks here, and so we went to one I think it was eisenhower and, uh, we found this trail and this trail leads you to the back where this farm and plantation used to be, and and it was crazy right, there's plantations like just eerie. They're creepy. This is in Texas. This is in Texas. It's a plantation. They call it a farm, but it's a plantation Like you go there, you look at it the way it's laid out they have quarters to where they have a picture of the way it used to be and how they have the slave quarters.
55:09 Fuck and it's. They have a picture of the way it used to be and how they have the slave quarters Fuck and it's part of a state park. You can actually walk through it. I went up to the house and the house is over 100-something years old. I even stood on the porch and Andrew's like be careful, you can fall through that damn thing. Whatever right. Walked around it. I saw where they would smoke their meat in the back. I saw the quarter of the slaves. It felt eerie. Do they still have it? Oh, it's up. It's part of history. Now you go there and you can see. It's like a historical site. Yeah, and they have their old stuff. They plowed with. Everything that belonged on their farm is there. They did tell us to watch out for snakes because there's been people who've been bitten inside of the. There's a barn further in the back.
55:50 Like you walk, it's about three miles. In Milan it's about two miles or three miles inside walking just that little area. And yeah, they said somebody has been bitten there before by rattlesnake, but it wasn't even hot yet, but still, walking around it, dude, the sun was going down. I'm like, wow, this is, this is crazy, this is cool, but it was kind of freaky. I'd love to go back. I took a lot of pictures. I'll just show you too. But now I want to get back to what you were saying about Molly's yeah, so Molly's is a bed and breakfast in the stockyards, I guess back in. It was built back in 1910. It's 7-, eight rooms, eight rooms actually, and at some point I think we were talking about this earlier it was a brothel, a brothel, so I had never heard that before.
56:43 You know Fort Worth was bad back in the day. Yeah, Fort Worth was a tough-ass town. Tough-ass, shoot-em-up type of town Yep. I mean, I guess, brothels and gunslingers. Yeah, so okay, so you can actually spend the night there, wake up, have breakfast, whatever. What are some of the things they say that happen there? So they say they see a cowboy. Jake the Cowboy is the person that they talk about the most Jake the Cowboy. Jake the Cowboy is the person that they talk about the most. Jake the Cowboy. They see a child, a woman, but they experience batteries drained, toilets flushing, just different things like that, when they're in the rooms. Wow, especially, there's a couple of rooms that they mentioned.
57:24 The Cattlemen and the Cowboys. Have anybody standing over you where you're sleeping? Well, they see them, the Cowboy. They see the cowboys. What have anybody like standing over you where you're sleeping? Oh well they see them, the cowboy. They see the cowboy. That's what they report the most. That's old Jake the creepy cowboy. Yes, that sounds like. Oh, so the silhouette that I used to see kind of had his head tilted down, almost like it was wearing a hat, uh-huh, but it would stand with his back against the, I mean that's kind of how they like the Marlboro man it was creepy bro. It was really creepy because it wouldn't just stand there. Sometimes it turned, but it's like I just weird. So yeah, anyways, you said that it kind of reminded me of the silhouette I would see. Yeah, so just things like that. So I would like to visit. We should look up a couple of things here, and, and when we're not doing a taco thing, we could probably go do like a.
58:08 Would that be a good Halloween show? Yes, exactly, we could do a few of those. That would be cool. Yeah, I'm down with that. Yep. Maybe get a couple of our friends to go with us or see who wants to go, or maybe, if it's just us going, I'm down. Us with our spouses, yeah, we could go as long as they go If you know they can chill outside and I hope mine goes, but I can honestly tell you oh, he already told me, no, he's like he threw he threw p signs up already. He's like yeah, what's that? You're on your own, yeah, yeah, I'd like to go check that out. Yeah, um, it would be cool it would anyways. Well, we may be cutting this a little bit shorter, or maybe not, but uh, I think it's time to wrap it and come back this.
58:48 We actually had more seriousness in this uh podcast than ever. I think most of the time we're talking we're laughing our asses off, making fun of shit. Hey go ghosts. It's serious business, serious business who? you gonna call ghostbusters I can't hear you. Ghostbusters. Yes, I did. Did you see that lady in the deep, not deep off Live Oak? Tom Thumb, this girl was wearing a way too tight Rugrats romper. This is like a Walmart thing, you're telling me. Oh, she definitely belonged in Walmart.
59:29 She got caught shoplifting. Wait, shoplifting or choplifting. She was choplifting. She was choplifting, but not from Guadalmar. You know honestly, as he says that you really do. I hear it a lot. He's got a lot of Latino talk from him. Yeah, like the. Hey, it's the food. So it's Little Pop's birthday. I wish him happy birthday. You did. Yeah, so Little Pop's is my pops. Happy birthday. Happy birthday pops. Hope you have a good one. Happy birthday to you. Love you mucho. Happy birthday a ti. I don't know how to say it in Spanish A ti.
1:00:09 A birthday to you, feliz cumpleaños a ti, oh my. God, Él sabe más que tú también Like. What are you talking about? Un bule, bule, bule. There you go.
